This project saw the creation of a biodiverse, educational SuDS landscape at the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust headquarters, The Wolseley Centre. The brief was to create a fully functional demonstration of SuDS that is both fun and educational for the many children that use the new Learning Hub building on a daily basis.

Emphasis was placed on creating a fully accessible experience - creating close contact with features such as the raised pool with water spout and weir, water play area (that feeds the wetland), swales, bridges and wetland habitat, raingarden planting, and an infiltration meadow. In addition, new shrub planting 'hideaways', play mounds, habitat meadows and balance logs create a diverse experience for children to enjoy in different ways.
